Logistics Overview
Uganda is a landlocked East African economy served principally by the Port of Mombasa via the Northern Corridor, with Dar es Salaam as the alternative route and Entebbe for air cargo.
Infrastructure Advantage
The Mombasa–Kampala corridor (about 1,150km) carries most trade, by road and increasingly by rail to the Naivasha ICD with road onward. Coffee leads exports; fuel, machinery, and consumer goods head inbound. Regional single-customs-territory procedures have trimmed border delays.
