Infrastructure Advantage
Croatia's port system is dominated by Rijeka in the north and Ploče in the south. The Rijeka Gateway, operated by APM Terminals, is a new highly automated terminal capable of handling the world's largest container ships. Croatia joined the Schengen Area in 2023.
