Logistics Overview
Brazil is Latin America's largest economy and one of the world's most important origins for agricultural commodities, minerals, and manufactured goods. Its logistics network is anchored by the Port of Santos, a deep roster of regional seaports, and major air cargo hubs around São Paulo (GRU/VCP) and Rio de Janeiro (GIG).
Infrastructure Advantage
Freight flows concentrate around the Southeast (São Paulo-Rio corridor) and the Southern industrial belt. High port concentration at a few main gateways (notably Santos) can create peak-season congestion. Strong coastal cabotage potential for domestic repositioning. Road-heavy hinterland moves with rail used for specific commodities.
